Lauritz Skeidsvoll Rapid Light

Lauritz Skeidsvoll, known from the internationally acclaimed band Master Oogway, brings his brand-new dream quartet, Rapid Light, to Moldejazz! Get ready for an intense musical experience filled with energy, powerful melodies, and boundless improvisation.

With their debut album released on the Finnish label Ultraääni Records, Rapid Light is set to blow the audience away with raw interplay and an insatiable urge to explore. Skeidsvoll has gathered some of the most exciting names in Scandinavian jazz:

Rino Sivathas – "Jazz Talent of the Year 2024," a drummer with an electrifying drive, known from Bliss Quintet and Joakim Rainer Trio.
Georgia Wartel Collins – A bassist with depth and nerve, recognized from Liv Andrea Hauge Trio and her own Aila Trio.
Isach Skeidsvoll – A pianist with uncompromising energy, known from Paal Nilssen-Love’s Sun & Steel and Dance to Summon.
