Ny kulturminister Lubna Jaffery, åpner Moldejazzen 2023.
Jaffery har en bred bakgrunn fra både kultur og idrettsfeltet og har vært statsekritær i Kulturdepartementet og kultur og kirkedepartementet fra 2009 til 2012. Hun har og hatt en rekke verv blant annet i Riksscenen, Festspillene i Bergen, Bergen Internasjonale Teater og Litteraturhuset i Bergen.
Festivalen gleder seg derfor til en åpningstaler med solid erfaring og kjennskap til kulturfeltet og ønsker henne hjertelig velkommen til Molde i uke 29.
