Veslemøy Narvesen (b. 1997) is one of the most dynamic and promising voices on the Norwegian music scene today. As a versatile drummer, she has made her mark with bands like Mall Girl, Schemes, Dafnie, and the Benjamin Gisli Trio, and has collaborated with stars such as Mette Rasmussen, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Anja Lauvdal, and the British ECM pianist Kit Downes.
With a wide range of musical influences, including Nordic jazz and folk songs in dialect, Veslemøy Narvesen creates music that not only challenges but also captivates the listener with fearlessness. Pop and improvisation merge in sophisticated harmony, presented here by Veslemøy Narvesen and Anna Ueland.
Concert Day Recommendations
We recommend starting your concert experience by walking "The Green Corridor" or parking at Grua and walking from there. The festival will provide buses departing from Alexandra Hotel at 10:30 AM. This bus service is intended for those who have difficulty reaching Varden for various reasons. The price for a bus ticket is 100 NOK round trip.

Parking at Varden is not available beyond the allocated spaces for two handicapped parking spots. The concert will take place near the old Vardestua.
